Daruifuno's Blue-Green algae analyzer uses the fluorescence characteristics of blue-green algae to excite the phycocyanin in the water with a 590nm light source to produce fluorescence, and measure the fluorescence intensity at 650nm to calculate the number of blue-green algae in the water.
